Jan, you always know what to say, and how to say it. Thank you for listening to God and sharing those words with us. Merry Christmas and a joyous New Year to you and Al.
Thanks for that vote of confidence, Marie -- I don't always say the right thing in real life. ha ha! Merry Christmas to you too! Hope to see you in Upper sometime when you're here. xoxo
Such a wonderful message you gave us today! Your experiences are so heartwarming. Thanks, Jan, for sharing the love that abounds this Christmas season.🥰
Merry Christmas, Lynn! I'm looking forward to getting back to Sanibel some day so I can find some more wonderful treasures. They are rebuilding slowly after the hurricane. I hear the beaches are overflowing with shells & skeletons since there are few tourists there now. I definitely feel God there. xoxo
Jan as I read this I to was thinking why did God send a baby. All I can think of right now is purity then for him to grow up like we did. To share his amazing gift of Live,Kindness and most of all Love. We as human’s have forgotten about Kindness and love the last few years. God sent his son to die for us so we might live in his glory. That’s why I believe God sent a baby to us.
Thank you for this heartwarming story Jan. Children are so simple in their belief in all things. I loved that little boy's words - "Didn't know fish believed in Jesus". When you think about it nature in all its variety would be something that does believe in Jesus more than human beings do. Nature is a testament to the Glory of God and therefore Jesus.
Wonderful story ! "I didn't know fish believed in Jesus." You have to love children. You're like a Christian Art Linkletter! (Did I date myself there? Hmmm.)
I love this! One of my favorite newer Christmas songs is "Baby Boy" by For King and Country. Here's the first verse:
If you told me all about your sorrows
I'd tell you 'bout a cure
If you told me you can't fight the battle
There's a Baby Boy who won the war
The war was won by a Baby Boy
Endless hope, relentless joy
Started with a Baby Boy
Merrry Christmas, Jan! Thanks for sharing these beautiful thoughts today.
Thanks, Cathey! I'm going to go & listen to "Baby Boy" right now. Merry Christmas! xoxo
