I have turned off a lot of the dings but my husband always has them coming from all the devices on his side of the room and when they happen while I'm trying to sleep I can become quite unpleasant! And the kitchen dings? Who needs that kind of pressure? I'll get around to closing the refrigerator and retrieving my warmed up coffee from the microwave eventually, even if it's the next day! Ha! I always love your humorous approach to life, Jan!

Between the phone, the iPad, and the computer something always seems to be dinging - with the same message three times. I'd turn them of - but then I might miss something.

I know what you mean about all the dings. I even get dings on my phone and there are no notifications. Very frustrating. I usually leave my phone in another room but just lately have to set alarm to get hubby up to take grandson to work so it is in the bedroom. Our fridge also dings if it is left open for more than 3 mins and microwave does too. Car even has a loud ding when it thinks it is time for a service and up pops the little wrench picture. Love the way you can take everyday very annoying things and make them into a great piece of writing especially for us oldies.

Jan-- another fun dingy writing. I’ve been turning a lot of my notifications off, so I don’t always hear the ding ding ding. And lately I’ve been leaving my phone in one room, so I don’t know when it dings, because I always want to look at it when I hear the ding. And I don’t keep my phone by my bed anymore at night. That has helped a lot. Really enjoying your stories. Keep them coming. Blessings to you.
