You must be very proud of yourself Jan . Congratulations on doing such a great job producing M.A.S.H. and you guys managed to raise for your fundraiser more than 20 thousand dollars. That’s fantastic!! 👏👏👏
I'm not surpised but thrilled for you for your success and great contribution on so many levels, even past the incredible amout of money your MASH raised. How is the brother, eased pain, I hope and pray! I'm taking a respite from jabbering on the Backyard BBQ or other THC stuff. I'm still reveling in gratitude for Graham's last podcast's personal revelation and challenged to do what he did: learn to love the past parts of me I have never loved and forgive the people, mostly dead ones, for the harm they created in me. I have every intention of going back to THC, but not until I work through to a better place. I am tutoring two students at the Literacy Agency in my town to prepare them for GED. I am also chairing the committee at my church that's called Outreach. I succeeded in recruiting some new blood. I have to herd some older folks with hard fast beliefs. I did some stumbling out of the shoot, but I'm working my way through on this as well. I can remember the let down after the set is struck and the production is put to bed. It usually took me a while to stand up again. I'll bet you are much better at that! All the best. With great admiration, respect, and fondness, your friend PD
Hi Patty ~ I'm still tearing down and putting away things. Kinda hard to believe it's over -- I enjoyed this adult cast so much, but looking forward to spring. I understand you stepping away from BBQ & THC. I have too. Being so busy with M*A*S*H made that easier. Graham is a delightful young man, but it was starting to feel a bit cultish. There is so much to do in life. Older woman swooning over him felt icky to me... Like you, I do enjoy some of the friendships I've been making there though. I'm excited you are tutoring those two students. I'm sure they need you. Thanks for all your support!!! xoxo
Jabbering has too negative a connotation. I miss a lot of the connections, stimulation, and support on Backyard. I just need a rest. I'm making good progress figuring "things" out!
I am so excited that we did a good thing. The first night few people laughed. I shed a couple tears when I got home, but realized we needed to change the introduction -- people needed permission to laugh at suicide. M*A*S*H is a dark comedy. It went great after that. Whew! Thanks for your support! xoxo
Your voice is used with excellence & broad experiences. Our community appreciates YOU!
My recent endeavor is in promoting Regenerative Agriculture because one is never too old for expanding education. Van’s is the catalyst for my interest, based on his adoption of farming methods to assure we leave our soil healthy for future generations.
Thanks for all your support, Vicki! I really appreciate it. Your contribution to the CommUNITY Circle is so admirable. Keep up the good work. Hugs xoxo
What an amazing accomplishment for you and your community. You must be so fulfilled and exhausted at the same time! Loved the story - sometimes things just come out of our mouths before we have a chance to bite our tongues. Rest up now, engage those other parts of your brain, and enjoy the fruits of all your labor!
Cathey ~ my poor little community has been under siege by an online magazine & some national news. They outed an online homeschool group who is pro-nazi. OMG! The leaders live in my little town, but no one knew it. Gathering at the theatre for a few laughs has been good for all of us. Every time I sit down to text someone I fall asleep. Hope to be rested up soon. Ha Ha! Thanks for your support! xoxo
I love you stepping out with boldness and faith to direct M.A.S.H. What a praise to raise so much for a beautiful cause. As you know, I love to study the brain. Yes! Embracing all our characters is a gift. Balancing them through tools like the Brain Huddle by Dr. Taylor is key. Thank you for sharing and it’s been inspiring!
Congratulations Jan! I am very happy for you and all your team. 👏👏👏
Thanks for your support, Elizabeth! xoxo

Thanks, Irene! I am proud of the people I worked with -- both cast & crews. They are amazing!
