You're probably too young to remember the old Gaslight bar downtown -- near First Citizens. There was a great dance floor upstairs.

I often have to ask my 11 year old granddaughter what a term means - especially acronyms. The fact that I have "flip side" in the name of my blog dates me. No one under 40 understands what that even refers to. 🤣

Ha! They may not know what a footnote is either. I should have thought of including an example of an acronym in my blog. I never know what they mean. Here's to us!

I mentioned the footnote part because I taught a research class a couple years ago at the community college & found out they didn't use footnotes anymore. What???
