This might be my favorite of yours yet. This is such a priceless experience on so many levels. It made me cry. You never know who you might have touched in so many ways over the years. I only had two teachers that I truly adored over all my school years. I wish I'd thought to go back and thank them.

Now on another note. Do you know what grade teaches about the 50 states? I'm creating a coloring book for maybe homeschooling or summer fun activity and can't seem to get an exact answer on this matter. (I don't know any teachers except you, haha, so reaching out!)

Oh, Patti, I'm so glad you liked it. Your coloring book sounds like a great project. In Ohio the kids learn about the states & capitals in fourth grade. If you need me to hook you up with a fourth grade teacher, let me know. Again, thanks! xoxo

Oh goodness, that would be wonderful! Yes, please hook me up. I can gift them a beta copy to test it to see if they even have interest. Thank you!!! ♥️❤️

Patti ~ I will send you the teacher's email so you can correspond after I get their permission. This will be great!

Thank you so much!!! I'm thrilled about this connection. 4th grade is who I like to target for learning and making it fun or inspiring. It was because of my own (one teacher) experience with learning about the US that encouraged and inspired me to explore and travel. Paying it back (or is it forward?) is a dream come true!

Hi Jan, I loved your story and the fact that he found you. We can only hope that somehow, we positively touch someone as you undoubtedly did and have.

I remember your story about that young man and it's amazing to hear that it came full circle. Wow. What a blessing and reward for what you considered a big mistake. This was a great post. I, too, am thankful for second chances!

It was hard to describe the timing of it all -- but it was definitely a "God Wink." I am blessed.
