No, yearly visits. Do not make me nervous. Going to the doctor doesn’t make me nervous. I love my doctor. She is so nice and she has been so attentive to me in the last five years that I have been going to see her. And I also like her PA, I’m just as comfortable with her as I am my doctor. Maybe it helps that they’re both females. But I can relate about trying to remember the three words they tell you to. I freaked out about that, But in the end, I also remembered them. Blessings and great story. Thank you for sharing.

The woman PA I see at my cardiologist's is a hoot -- besides being an awesome doctor. I think you're right about it taking the right doctor to make you comfortable. Blessings back at ya' xoxo

Getting older is not a laughing matter...usually! Seeing the world through your eyes always makes me smile.

Oh Jan if I could only tell you how many times I’ve given those Medicare Wellness check questions to my parents. I’ve done it so many times I actually have them memorized Ha. Then do V/S and make sure their meds are right. It makes me nervous just asking the questions as an MA. I feel for my patients when giving them that memory test. It is funny when you go to the Dr how nervous you get like your on trial. But glad to hear it was ok. I love reading you work.

Thanks, Shari! Someone told me they will ask the same words next year??? I'm writing them down & keeping them in a safe place just in case. Of course, I'll probably forget the safe place. Ha Ha! xoxo

Lately, Jan, Dr.'s appointments make me break out in hives! Way too many, and none of them fun! Not to mention the CAT-SCAN, MRI,and opthomologist appointments which I've already had done, and the EKG coming up! Yes, doctor's appointments make me nervous, alright...all I really want for Christmas is to fly away on one of Santa's reindeer, never to be heard from again. Think that's possible, or am I taking too much "medicine" again? Anyway, I think I've answered your question and then some. Have a great Holliday Season!

Did you have to draw a clock with the time 10 past 11:00? Remember those 3 words, they normally use the same ones each year!

Expand full comment

OMG, I didn't have to draw a clock. I'll practice that for next year. Ha! I'll have to write those three words down somewhere. Thanks for the tips. Love ya'

So agree, those three words cause a bit of stress! AND they check your blood pressure after telling you to remember !!🤣

It sure is amazing what your blood pressure can do. I had to go for my yearly checkup with my cardiologist a few days later, and it was perfect. Oh, growing older & its adventures... xoxo

Another laugh out loud moment Jan. My three words were apple penny watch. I made the mistake of telling my daughter-in-law about the three words while my oldest grandson was listening, and every so often he will ask for my three words. Great sharing Jan, thank you. 😂 xoxo

Rita -- I had to create a picture in my mind to remember my 3 words. I can still do it. Whew! Sounds as if your grandson is going to keep you on your toes. Xoxo
