Thank you we participated Feed My Starving Children Mobile Pack since 1992 while we were in my old state of Minnesota and we started the Mobile pack since 2019 here in our town and it shut down 2020 our second pack during Covid. We raised the money and we set our goal . We overpass our goal and we were able to feed 660 children for a year Manna Pack for 2.5 days very long 2 days .It goes to 200 different countries so no children are hungry.

I tried to make it more fun and we have music and each table every time they fill a boxed they scream whatever they want and dance lol. This was my project along with another person. I started soliciting last fall after we scheduled as it’s a year advance to schedule the event and I was able to raise certain amount from what my goal . It feels good to accomplish this as I can’t travel medical missions yet .

I will have to take this quiz because I have no idea what my strengths really are. I have some idea of what they are not. I am usually pretty good directionally but I have tried to get into other people's cars a couple of times - what is that called (besides old and unobservant)? I don't remember ever actually getting lost before. Still could happen! Your blogs always make me laugh! Thanks for the smile this morning.

Oh, Cathey ~ you just made me laugh -- you don't know your strengths???? Even this directionally-lost person can tell you that you're gifted in the verbal/linguistic intelligence and the interpersonal one. I don't know how good you are at math or playing basketball so you'll have to let me know what the third one is... hee hee! xoxo

I only do math when I have to and I'm only five feet tall so basketball was never my forte! Thanks for helping me out with my strengths. Easier to see in someone else I guess!

Another awesome piece of writing. And I laughed through most of it, especially the part of being and getting lost. Are you sure you weren’t talking about me? I can’t read a map. I can usually find where I want to go on a map, but I need somebody to explain it to me in detail, and then I need to write it down. And directions? Doesn’t everything go downhill, isn’t that south? I have a friend that doesn’t like directions either, and if she’s driving, when turning, it’s not left or right, it’s either her way or my way. We always laugh about this. I’m glad we are at the age that we can laugh at the crazy things we did, and still do. thank you for making me laugh in remembering my adventures in finding my way home. I always wanted to be like Dorothy and just click My heels of my shoes.

Keep on riding Jan, so I can keep on laughing. Blessings to you……

Jan I completely understand about not being excepted. I wish I had a fairy godmother to sprinkle me with fairy dust to make me popular. I to have trouble with direction you tell me to go left I go right and keep going and freaked myself out. I too need to take this quiz because I have no idea what my strengths are the weaknesses that’s no issue. Jan I do love reading your posts. They always bring a smile to my face. Have a super day Jan

Oh, Ronja ~ I've definitely needed you more than once. One time when I was supervising student teachers in a school about 100 miles away, I was able to get there without too much of a problem. But when my husband called to check on me (he knows me), I said, " If I just turn around & come back the same way that should work, right?" he fretted the rest of the day. ha ha! GPS has been the greatest invention in the world -- for me! Being able to speak quite a few languages is definitely a gift. And your direct approach to life certainly attracted me. xoxo
