I love it! Happily I have no health problems and even I'm past 60 years old, I look a little less.

The other day I heard some litle girls talking about The Beatles and I said I loved them, one of the child said to me her grandma love them too, so I wondered if my students would see me as a grandmother because their grandmothers and I must be the same age.

I'm so glad to hear about your good health, Elizabeth. I always looked younger than I was, but one year a high school student said, "Oh, yeah, my grandma does that too." That's when it hit me like a brick. I don't look young anymore. ha ha! Also, when I went on the Italy tour, I was the oldest one on the trip. The young men must have been able to tell; they kept helping me off the bus. I didn't mind. *Wink

This is so true. I started to think something was wrong with me with I started to talk about retirement with my friends. Was I really at that stage of my life???? Here I am talking and laughing about it. We must keep going no matter how slow we become or what we forgot when we got to the kitchen. Love it!!!!

Elaine ~ when I had lunch with friends today, our cute waitress said, "I can't wait to be like you ladies." I think that was a compliment???? ha ha! xoxo

Excellent text, I loved it. We are all at the same point. With the years we all have something wrong with us. I'll be 68 in a little over a month, I'm French and I have high blood pressure, back pain but I'm fine.

Hi Mathilde ~ I'm 76 so I'm a few wrinkles ahead of you. Ha Ha! But you are right -- no matter where we live all have "issues." Living in France, however, I'm sure your diet is better than mine here in America. Sometimes I just want a greasy hamburger... xoxo

Jan, you so cleverly and comically express whay many of us have and are going through. For me, I still FEEL young on the inside and then I look in the mirror and am shocked at the changes that have taken place. Your writing has made it possible to laugh about aging. I’m happy I am still alive, learning, and able to love others. Thank you for sharing your thoughts snd humor. I especially love your story of the golf course happening. 🌹
