Jan, I so enjoy reading your stories, love the humor you bring to life’s journey. Glad you are continuing your page. You book is wonderful...it made great Christmas gifts, my friends loved it!
Jan, as I think you know, Cathey Cone's blog, Footnotes From the Flipside, is an endlessly creative foray into poetry, pictures, and possibilities. Cathey started out small, but her blog, along with her gifts, has grown exponentially and I see no reason why this won't continue. I believe something similar can happen for you. So, should you give up on Substack? NO WAY! Are you just a little fish in a big pond? I believe the choice is yours. What do you want it to be? 😊
Thanks, Pam!!! I, too, love Cathey's blog. She's the one who got me started on Substack, now I've been encouraging her to do her book -- since I jumped in & did that first. Can't wait for that! ( I am pulling away from the THC Community even though they are a lovely bunch of people; I don't really need GW's guidance or encouragement at my age. I'm crazy enough to "Take A Leap" all by myself. hee hee!) The main purpose of today's blog was to assure readers that it's ok to be a little fish in a big pond. You don't have to be famous or reach the masses to make a difference. Take care! And thanks again! xoxo
I'll try to keep keepin' on, Vicki, but I'm thinking I may have a little Adult ADD. Ha! Thanks so much for always supporting me. I'm thinking you should be writing one of these... xoxo
Oh i am excited that you will be around writing stories that i love to read and making me laugh or smile. I would miss you if you left!! Thank you for sticking around longer.
And congratulations for donating your book money to a charity-that is awesome. I bought your book, and I love it, and was going to give it away to a friend as a gift, but decided to keep it myself, and to buy my friend a book for her birthday. Your stories always warms my heart ♥️- Thank you. Blessings and hugs my friend.
Glad to hear you are continuing to tell fun stories for another year! As writers I think we always question if what we put out into the world makes an impact of any kind. Your stories make us smile and we can all use more of that in our lives!
Thanks, Cathey ~ for getting me started on this journey. I'm kinda amazed at myself sticking with this -- having written nearly 90 entries so far. I usually flit from one thing to another. Going to try adding more helpful info with my stories this year. We'll see how that goes... Thanks again! xoxo

Of course it's worth it, because in every text you write you give a dose of optimism and good humor. So go ahead and many successes! 🤗
Ah, thank you, Elizabeth! I wish I could visit Peru and get a dose of your optimism. 'Cause it's great! xoxo

I’m a better person because you are shining your light! Excited for another year of wisdom and wit, with some helpful nuggets shared coming our way!
Thank you very much for the shoutout Jan! You're definitely the Substack I recommend!
