Creative with so many nuggets. Thank you for sharing. I definitely have some “nuts” in my fudge and each of them share some uniqueness that makes my family whole.
Yes, I have some more people in my family that give it -- its "uniqueness." If I'm not careful, I'm going to be added to the "nutty" part soon. ha ha! Love family!
Thanks so much for your encouragement!!! I'm hoping to write the blog for a year at least -- if people are reading it. Substack does a good job of keeping stats. So far so good...
Hello Jan, tomorrow we return to class and I'm going to talk about the Inca's Empire in the history class and telling some interesting legends about it.
Oh, Elizabeth ~ I'm so excited for you & your students. Hope you have a great day with the Incas -- plus a great year. Your recent pictures looks as if you had a wonderful girl trip. I bet you'll have a lot to share. {{ Hugs}}
Thanks Jan, my students are full of life and eager to learn, this is the first year they go to presential school because the pandemic caught them in pre-kinder.
The trip was incredible, I laughed a lot. On Saturday the 13th my son will get engaged to his girlfriend and they will get married on December, this will be an unforgettable year.
Yes Jan first of all I enjoyed your blog. I have a granddaughter who is very eager and anxious to know about my family’ ltree. I told her that I was only one year old when my dad died during the Japanese regime.The Japanese killed my father during the world war 2.
Elisa ~ I recently read all the letters my dad sent my mom when he was oversees during WWII. He was a pilot. It made me see him in a completely different light. It was so good for me! I was lucky my dad returned -- nine months later I was born. I think it's wonderful your granddaughter wants to know about your family tree. Many kids don't want to be bother... xoxo
Jan, that was great! I started drifting off into old memories of the 60’s. The music, the friends, they boys, the parties. I didn’t like high school studies but I loved college. Think I’ll find that song by the doors, Light My Fire, and reminisce about how much fun those days were. Thanks for sharing some of your great memories.
Debbie ~ I put Billy Joel's "We Didn't Start the Fire" with my story, highlight or reel -- whatever you call that thing -- with a little dancing hippie??? We must think a like. Hugs!

Loved your story of Bobby. Unfortunately I never knew either of my grandfathers so no funny, kookie stories about them.
Ah, Teresa ~ I'm sorry you missed the experience. Thanks for reading my blog!
Love this, Jan. I definitely have a few nuts in the family tree. But I love history - mine and in general. It all tells a story.
