Yesterday I felt like a nervous little girl teetering on the edge of a high dive. I really wanted to jump off that board, but a panicky voice in my head kept echoing:
“Maybe you’re not good enough.”
“Wonder if you do a face plant?”
“Everyone’s going to laugh at you.”
Finally, the scared little girl mouthed to the Universe, “Help me!”
Here I was a 75 year-old woman sitting at the computer all morning afraid to take a chance. I had finished my blog entry and had filled in all the information on Substack. I was staring nervously at the PUBLISH button, teetering back & forth when my phone rang:
“Hi, Mrs. Stoneburner, this is Andy Green. Do you remember me? It’s been over 20 years. I’m up here in Detroit thinking about you. I’m the Co-Host of a popular radio show called Dave and Chuck the Freak now. I wanted to say ‘Thank You!” You were the one person who cared about me and showed me what I could do.”
Did God answer me? Does He use the phone? I don’t know…
So just in case I hit the PUBLISH button.
