I have a Daily Inspiration app on my phone. A recent message said, "God is going to bless you with new opportunities , new ideas..." Is it wrong to ask Him to wait a couple weeks? Just kidding! I know all things in God's time.
Thirty-five years ago, when I was younger, directing an awesome group of high school students in M*A*S*H, I could do more than one thing at a time. Ha! Now that I’ve aged, I’ve lost some of my mojo. Start something new?!? Ha! I may even be sporadic in writing my blog in the next month. Darn!
Inspired by his older brother, Scott Washburn and I decided to produce M*A*S*H ‘23 to raise funds for Hannah’s House, Star Players and Hope Squad. Cory, who played Klinger in my high school production, died by suicide in 2004. His family and I really miss him. So Cory’s son Trey will be Capt. Jones, the football star, and Cory’s younger sister Erica Bickhart will be singing “Someone to Look Over Me” in the party scene. Oh, did I say Scott, who has never been on the stage before, will be re-enacting Klinger in memory of his brother?

I am so lucky to be working with another great group of people in 2023. We may be grayer and wider, but the charisma, enthusiasm, experience, and talent that exudes from this cast may just surpass that of those 18 year-olds’ years ago. Ha! I wanted to share this group with you.
More light-hearted stories about aging sometime in the near future… xoxo
It’ll Be OK.

I can't remember ever wanting to be somewhere as badly as I wish I could be in Upper Sandusky for one of these performances! I know everyone will "break a leg"! You are a fine woman, Jan Stonberger. The world is definitely blessed by you and your devotion.
