Day 8: Tour Ancient Rome
Colosseum gladiators, animal hunts, mock naval battles for entertainment
Roman Forum housed government buildings where Julius Caesar was stabbed
Colorful carriages juxtaposed with the ancient Pantheon
Day 9: Travel to Sorrento (Towers Hotel Stabiae)
Tour Pompeii
Mt. Vesuvius buried Pompeii in ash & pumice
Archeologists continue to find many objects and remains
