What am I grateful for today? Well, for reminding us that the word Thank you is very important and that each of us should use it more often. At the moment, this word does not exist in some people but sooner or later they will have to use it. Thanks to you. Happy thanksgiving from Paris France.
Jan, this was awesome! You do a great job....writing is not for me, but I love to read. Thank you for sharing this from your heart. I look forward to more from you.
Jan thank you for sharing. I do go to bed and thank God for all I have. I have a list and I go down it till the end. Though at times I do fall asleep then about 2 am i realize that I didn’t finish and I start all over again LOL. Oh well I do pray and thank God on the way to work.
Hi, Shari -- Happy Thanksgiving! I have to admit I fall asleep sometimes too. ha ha! I try to say thank you throughout the day also -- sometimes just to make life feel better. xoxo
Enjoyed this. Please and thank you was a word I was taught many years ago. I have a grand 21 years old, still yes mam. Makes me feel good . Blessings to you on this Thanksgiving Day.
Thanks, Susie ~ Happy Thanksgiving & Blessings to you too! Oh yes, respect from the younger generation certainly feels good. I had to chuckle last night when I did a presentation for "older" Sr. Citizens. They kept telling me (this 76 yr old) how young & cute I was. Ha Ha! I guess everything is relevant. xoxo
I am thankful to have meet you here and I love reading your blog also I am learning to write between you and Cathey .I am out of my comfort zone it’s the beginning of my healing process . I used that word all the time with our son and grandkids if they forgot to,say please or thank you.
I loved it! Thank you is one of the most powerful words, it opens many doors. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Perú, however I read the emotion that THC puts into this celebration and I find it beautiful. I am grateful for life, family, health, work, friends, the good things and not so good, because all helps my growing.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. Thank you for your friendship and for sharing this great blog. 🤗
Hello Jan thank you for your message today.Good for Thanksgiving but we don’t thank the Lord only during thanksgiving but everyday. In everything give thanks. This morning as soon as I woke up I sat down on my bed.I bowed my head and thanked Him for waking me up.I asked for strength the whole day ,strength to do my chores and cook my food.I always ask for guidance and direction.Thank you Lord for everything Amen.
Jan I love reading your blog,so I’m thanking you.My mum must have said those magic words too me many times and me too my children. We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving here in the UK but I’m sending all my love and 🙏blessings for a great thanksgiving for you and your family. We have a lot to be thankful for ❤️
Your engagement with an audience is “magic”! Your presentation to “Thank our parents”, Thank our grandparents”, Thank our Friends” with balloon releases was clever, engaging, and very pertinent! Thankfully, you hit a Bullseye with those of us in the audience. We are truly thankful for your sharing!
Thanks for the reminder! As I was preparing my own Thanksgiving blog, it forced me to compile a list of things I'm grateful for. I should do that every day.
Looking forward to reading your blog, Cathey!!! When you know you need 10 things to be thankful at night, it makes you look around for them during the day. If you don't forget... ha ha! Thankful for your friendship! xoxo

I'm behind on my readings, but I'm glad I stopped by to read your post and was blessed with this reminder:
"if I thanked God for 10 simple things every night before I fell asleep, I would awake in a much happier mood the next morning."
I will do this every night from now on!
Thank you!
Hi Angela ~ so glad you stopped by. Let me know how the nightly gratitude goes for you. It has really helped me. xoxo
