I just walk around, singing & dancing. Quite a sight, but I do think it works. You have such a beautiful pool. Someday hope to float in it with you... xoxo
I laughed a little at your post Jan I’ve started a workout program and an eating regimen. I follow a woman named Charolette Mazur KerryJames supports her. I’ve done very well with both. I’ve been in cardiac rehab in 2015 after I was sick. Yes at that time I caught it. But it was the best thing really.
Yes. I’ve seen her. I love KJ so I watched one of their zoom calls. Glad you like your workout program. I’m getting great results, but I still hate exercising. That will probably never change. Ha!
I don’t like exercise either! Our condo club house has a great exercise room and I found that the bike has a rack to hold a book or iPad! I can read my book and before I know it I have 7-8 miles and 3-4 chapters in. Takes about 45 min and keeps me moving. Doesn’t help my SOB or exhaustion much but I at least I can walk and balance is good!
That's awesome. I'm not crazy about that recumbent bike I do each time, but it is making my legs stronger. I'm not "tilting over" as much as I was there for awhile. Ha! Take care! xoxo
Me too. Part of my migraine symptoms is phonophobia. Sudden sounds scare the $#!t out of me. It actually physically hurts. Fortunately I get far fewer migraines in the last 15 years.
As for beta blockers, they do have side effects. I take them to help reduce the number and intensity of migraines and they definitely help. But is a balancing act ... just enough dosage to help with the migraines. If I take too much they leave me tired and winded.
We Are soul sisters. I used to take beta blockers for migraines, but now I just get the sensory auras so I don’t need them for that. Things changed after menopause. Lights and smells always triggered my headaches. I’m taking metoprolol tartrate for angina. It does have similar side effects as anxiety, but whether it’s “in my head” or the meds, exercising is really helping. Thanks for sharing. xoxo
I've always had a strong startle reflex. Does that mean I've been anxiety ridden my whole life? My kids learned young not to jump out at me because it wasn't fun! Glad the cardio rehab is helping. Some people love to work out - I am not one!
I wonder? Ha! I don't think either of us is anxiety ridden. But the major side effects I thought I was having from the meds were actually some of the same feelings I've always gotten before a big speech, waiting for someone to pick me up, stuck in a close space ~ now that I think about it. Maybe my over-the-top startle reflex the last month was trying to tell me something, and I didn't get it: "Quit thinking; start moving." I definitely won't become a Workout Queen, however. Ha! Thanks for sharing. xoxo
I had to laugh. I was at my daughter’s house carrying for my twin grandsons when they wanted to show me a finch nest. As I peeped into the bush to see the little blue eggs, I screamed ! There wrapped around the tiny eggs was a snake! EEEKKK!! I know I grew up on the farm, but this girl HATES snakes. All my daughters said was take a picture. WHAT! You think I’m going to put my nose back into that bush, even if it is a garter snake.
I do exercises in the pool and it’s not bad at all.

OMG, Lisa ~ I'd probably pass out if I saw a real snake -- even if I'm exercising 3 days a week. Ha Ha! Thanks for sharing. xoxo
