Hello Substack Friends ~
As we get closer to Opening Night for our M*A*S*H Benefit on February 10, I thought it may be fun for you to see what goes on behind the scenes of a live production. Here are some pictures of the technical work that we’ve been doing so far for M*A*S*H. (Next week I’ll share pictures from some of our rehearsals.)
Cleaning up, rebuilding and painting floor after an earlier production
Building the set — one of three tents
Painting the scenery
Finding costumes, making props, painting set pieces
Setting lights and sound
It’s taking a lot of sweat and Diet Coke — and A LOT of wonderful people — but we’re having fun raising money for mental health awareness.
It’ll Be OK. ( We’d still appreciate your continuing prayers. xoxo)

COMMENT: Can you think of something in your life that the preparation took longer than the actual event?

Wow! So much work by so many talented people! It’s going to be awesome!!
Looks great Jan. I remember working on West Side Story just after high school graduation. I worked with the lighting. It’s always wonderful to see so many people come together for such a worthy cause. Break a Leg!!!
